Make Yourself Heard (vocal skills)
Within our portfolio of Communication Skills Training we offer a course dedicated to the power and persuasiveness of the voice. The voice and its role in effective communication remains an underused tool in business and often an area where people receive little or no training.Using opera singers and/or actors as vocal coaches we will explore how improving your voice can make a huge impact on your business dealings.
Participants will learn to:
- Increase the power of the voice
- Achieve the best posture for speaking and presenting
- Making your voice more interesting: improving vocal range, colour and pace
- Better diction and more vocal power
- Improve your breathing and calm your nerves
- Using emotional intentions to increase the persuasiveness and impact of a message

- Using the power of silence, (a forgotten communication skill)
- Vocal skills for presenting
- Telephone techniques
The teaching will be interspersed with real life examples, audio, video and live stimulus.
There will be interactive exercises showing how vocal communication skills can be used in business with a range of scenarios from presenting/public speaking, using the phone, developing conversations, greeting and running meetings.
Our vocal workshops are a popular teambuilding component in conferences and large meetings.
